We never excluded Brazilian store (why would we?)
However, somehow Drum Meister has been removed by Apple’s appstore system in
some countries where there is no “GAME” category.
Right now, we’ve almost done with a big update and soon, the new and a lot better version will become available in those excluded countries too.
I think I found the problem. I had the Quicktime volume set to off on another application which kept the default volume off for your app.. I turned up the volume half way on the other app. closed it then ran Drum Meister and the sound of the drums was there. You should add a volume control on your next update; this would eliminate the issue.
Hello,
Is it possible for you to implémentation an audio export in the next version.
Better still you can also make it save audio in the DCIM folder of the iPhone.
This way, audio sequences produce by Drum Meister will be accessible to other softwares.
Many programs such as Beatmaker and noiseio already used a directory called “iolibrary” within the DCIM folder.
Keep on the good work.
Regards.
Jean-Eric
Very very nive to heard it’ll import and export midifile.
But what about data and adio exchange within the iPhone, using a common folder, do you consider this as a possibilitie?$$
1. Enter “arrange mode” by pushing arrange button in the menu.
2. Press the red button on the upper right corner.
3. Select a drum component and assign a roll beat by rotating dial on the right side.
4. Go back to perform screen (the main screen) and hit the component you selected then the drum roll will be automatically played.

Touch sites Touch-Mania.com.

Our Podcast is in the Top 5 in our Category Technology, so we have many
viewers.
Is it possible to get a Promo Code for the US Store of your Application Drum Meister, so I can review it in the Podcast?
Is it possible to overdub a recorded piece to make it richer? Like first recording hi-hat then overdubbing bass and snare due to lack of coordination with fingers? That would make this app super usefull.
Great app… but having some issues…
I am running on a 3G with 3.1 – new download (today). When I start the app, it goes to the splashscreen, sits for a bit, then drops back to the apps screen. I turned my phone off, then back on and it started working (allowing the app to start).. then again turned it off, them back on and it doesn’t work again.
Durning the time I could actually launch it, I found that while arranging the drums, if I deleted a drum, it would crash (most of the time).
First problem, the famous “launch & crash problem”.
Many iPhone users have complained about this since iPhone OS version 2.x
and it seems not to be fixed in the latest version.
It’s an iPhone’s internal bug and known to happen mostly when a user sync
his/her iPhone with multiple PC’s.
The best solution people found for this problem
was just deleting and re-installing the application.
Please try this and let me know if the problem doesn’t go away.
Second problem, the editing problem.
I found the problem and confirmed that it was due to non-blocking functions of the iPhone’s sound library.
For example, I stop playing the sound before I delete the component but
it takes a while for the iPhone to actually stop the sound.
I’ve already fixed this problem by adding a work-around code.
The updated version is v2.4 and is already waiting for Apple’s approval.
Until then, here is the temporary solution.
1. Select a component to delete
2. Wait for sound to stop
3. Push the red “trash” button
Drum Meister is awesome! Thanks for your great work.
The same issues for me. The last v2.3 takes more time to load. Changing options and then tap “Done” causes hang on black screen. Deleting drums from Arrangement crashing app sometimes.
Also, I saw “Velocity Control” option in update description, but where is it and how does it work?
Waiting for overdubbing and MIDI export options! =)
For “deleting drum” problem, please refer to my previous comment.
v2.3 takes more time to load because of the velocity map.
It’s slightly longer so I hope you can stand it.
The black screen problem occurs when iPhone’s memory is full of garbages.
A quick solution for this might be tuning off and on the device
to refresh the RAM memory.
I will keep my eyes on this issue though.
“Velocity control” is added in v2.3.
Try to hit the center and the edge of the drum components and
you will feel the difference.
Oh yes, I am planning for v3.0 to have overdubbing and MIDI export options.
Seems there is still a sound problem. all of a sudden I can only get sound on your app when I am playing song on the iPod. If I stop the song, your drum app will not make any sounds.
Why this program is not available at the Brazilian store?
It has many other drum app but not good as Drum Meister.
Take Care

Why is the new version (2) not in the appstore????
Just got approved…
It will be available in a few hours….
Thank you for being interested.
Just downloaded the update and can’t hear the drums on the internal speaker, only the headphone.
I have the same issue no sound w/out headphones.
I tested for many situations and it was OK/
But maybe there is some case where this problem
happens and I just missed out.
I will look into the situation.
Can you provide me with more information?
What H/W are you using? iPod 1st Gen / iPod 2nd Gen / iPhone
What version of OS are you using? 2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2 / 2.2.1 / 3.0 / 3.1
Is this your new purchase? or Upgrade?
I will feagure out the solution as soon as possible.
I’m using a new Iphone 3GS 16g running OS 3.0(7A341).
I also updated a previous version of Drum Meister
H/W: iPhone 3G S 32g
OS: 3.0 (7A341)
New purchase: 7/7/09
Thanks for your information.
One more thing I’m just double checking…
Do you have Settings -> General -> Sound Effects set to Both?
I think I found the problem. I had the Quicktime volume set to off on another application which kept the default volume off for your app.. Okay
We will add it in the next update…
Thanks a lot…
I dont have a sound effects setting.

Thanks for your advice.
I am planning to add import/export feature so that people can load/save their beats in a MIDI format.

Great drum app. I see that it says it has Auto Drum roll. Where is the button to do that?
Hi Joel,
Here’s the instruction.

Hi Jett,
Unfortunately, overdubbing is not supported yet.
However, it is one of the top priority feature I am working on.
Thanks.

Dear Drum Meister,
I love you!
Therefore I’d like to spend more time with you, could you imagine to support ioLibrary for that we can hang out with Beatmaker more often?
Please? Hear from you soon. Hopefully.

Suggestions?
